Led by Jack Davis (who brings over 19 years in large-scale event management), the aptly named Good Neighbor Festivals is a full-service organization specializing in logistics, marketing, promotion, strategic planning, sponsorship, and consulting. They are committed to building a sense of anticipation in and around Nashville, preparing audiences for something thrilling and unique, and then delivering exhilarating events that leave a lasting impression.
In this Member Spotlight, we caught up with the Good Neighbor Festivals team to learn more about their work and about their experience as part of our C615 coworking campus.
How Long Have You Been at Center 615?
Since August of 2024.
What Drew You to Working in Festival Management in the First Place?
The opportunity to bring people together, inspire them, and stimulate their minds through our events is the best feeling. We like working behind the scenes to create memorable experiences for people.
What Is Your Favorite Thing About What You Do?
On the event day, when all our hard work finally comes together, you can see the joy it brings to every person there. It’s the greatest reward to see what community means. And recounting our favorite or funniest moments after the festival is always great – we often laugh so hard we cry.
What Have Been Some of Your Biggest Challenges in Business and Life?
The rising costs of doing business and the ever-shifting political climate are always keeping us on our toes. But we’re determined to keep bringing the community together however we can.
Where Do You do Your Best Work/What Is Your Ideal Work Setup?
The new library/quiet space on the second floor is a really nice, peaceful spot to focus.
What’s Your Favorite Amenity That Center 615 Offers?
Free coffee! And the courtyard—working outside on a nice day is the best.
