We at Center 615 are back at it for another installation of “our love for the East Nashville neighborhood.” Series part three includes local restaurants we love for lunch during the workday (part one lists caterers, and part two lists coffee shops). Hopefully these delicious restaurants lift you out of the midday slump—they certainly do the trick for us.
Next time you’re in a meeting, your belly grumbles, and you need a change of scenery from the four conference room walls, we urge you to pick one of the local East Nashville restaurants below. Two are a stone’s throw from our coworking campus, and the rest are walkable for eager pedestrians—especially those in the Five Points neighborhood.
Maybe we’re cheating by listing two places here that we listed for catering. Maybe we’re not. Taste for yourself.

Greek Like Woah: Greko
Why:
Everyone who tours our campus and spots Greko’s sign says, “Oh, I love Greko!” The signature scent of their fries and chicken skewers wafts through our break rooms during lunchtime. It’s clear this neighborhood loves the local Greek spot for a quick but flavorful meal. Why not check it out for yourself?

This Side of the Tracks: Hunter’s Station
Why:
A centrally located spot with dog-friendly patio spaces and food options for everybody on any type of diet—Hunter’s Station seeks to cater to everyone. Gone are the days of indecisive team lunch woes. The canine, the carnivore, and the vegan can happily sit side-by-side while noshing on their chosen fare. Walkable from both Center 615 and from Five Points, we always recommend this spot for visitors.

Fusion of the Future: Hawkers Asian Street Food
Why:
While the national chain restaurant replaced the beloved Family Wash, the fusion spot booms with activity every day. Decorated with neon signs that would give Broadway a run for their money, the atmosphere of Hawkers Asian Street Food matches the boldness of their dishes and drinks. Hawkers fusion flavors have the zing you need to boost you through the rest of your work day.
If Center 615 members aren’t carrying Greko take-out through the hallways, then they’re carrying bold Hawkers bags. It helps that the restaurant is right across the street.

The Company You Should Keep: Burger & Company
Why:
Best of Nashville voters have spoken: Burger & Co. has the best unique burger toppings (two years in a row!). Not only do they have unique toppings, but Burger & Company serves their beef patties between brioche buns for a satisfying and savory bite.
Another plus is the walkability of the Five Points neighborhood that hosts Burger & Co.
