Smith & Lentz

Why:

Tornado pivot: pizza. When Smith & Lentz experienced devastating damage to their brewery after the March 3, 2020 tornado. Amid the rubble, co-founders Adler Lentz and Kurt Smith envisioned adding a wood-fire oven to the next version of their beloved brewery. Since pizza makes everything better, it was a no-brainer for Smith & Lentz to add hot pies to their already stellar offerings. But not just any pizza—wood fired pizza.

For both their pizza and their beer, Smith & Lentz sources local ingredients that are in season. The result? Delicious and ever-rotating drafts, cans, and pies.

Center 615 once had a community Happy Hour at Smith & Lentz complete with a corn hole tournament. So, we encourage you to call ahead and ask if they can host your team!

Where:

903 Main St., Nashville, TN 37206

What to order:

Pepperoni pie, check their rotating menu online and at their brewery for their latest drafts and cans

Crazy Gnome Brewery

Why:

Trivia, comedy night, live music, and an outdoor patio…need we say more? (Good beer implied) Crazy Gnome ventures to foster a local neighborhood feel that we East Nashvillians relish. Their live music, food truck, and comedy line-up all support Nashville’s local artists and entrepreneurs.

Established August 2020, Crazy Gnome Brewery is a fairly new kid on the block. Even though their original grand opening plans were thwarted, they have been pouring strong ever since their doors opened.

Check their event calendar for their community event schedule and food truck line-up!
