While, as a coworking community,
we focus on growing small businesses and creating longevity for larger businesses, taking time out of your day to focus on yourself, instead of work, is also vitally important for an enriched life.
That’s why we have a nap room and meditation room on campus for our members.
Plus, mindfulness and wellness go a long way in terms of both physical and mental health, which is crucial for work productivity.
In fact, for C615’s weekly staff meetings, before discussing any agenda items, we take a full minute, a “mindful minute”, to be still, quiet, and clear our thoughts.
One of my favorite ways to practice mindfulness is through yoga. Just ask former Center 615 member Savannah Toone about the benefits of yoga; practicing with a loyal pooch doesn’t hurt, either.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Free Virtual Yoga/Meditation Classes, based in Nashville
Since we’re all only venturing into the world for groceries and “essential” activities, here are some online classes you can join!
Most are free or have free options. However, at this financially difficult time (especially for small businesses) I ask that you consider paying for a class or two.
• Hot Yoga East Nashville is offering free online classes for current members, new member rates start at $8.99. Check out their Instagram account, @hotyogaeastnashville for Live Video classes as well!
• Power Spell Yoga is hosting a 14 day quarantine challenge, which you can find on their Instagram, @powerspellyoga. This is a free challenge to join and participate in! They will post tips and facts for each day’s drill for those less familiar with yoga.
Also, in light of recent circumstances, Center 615 is now offering virtual tours for those interested in our campus.
So, in the spirit of wellness in the workplace, here is a list of FREE yoga classes in Nashville for every day of the week! Because who doesn’t love free stuff?
