Looking to book space in Nashville for a summer event? Center 615 is home to several venues of different sizes and designs, meaning it’s likely we’ve got an affordable option for whatever your summer shindig might be.
Renting Event Space in Nashville
If you’re on the hunt for a unique event space that’s centrally located, convenient, and affordable, you’re not alone. Summer is a competitive time to book a venue for parties or events, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead. Giving yourself time to settle on the right spot for your gathering means you ensure that the biggest component of a gathering, the room (or rooftop deck!), is secured. Things can fill up quickly, so make sure you narrow down your selections with plenty of time to spare. Since it’s 2025, you’re probably going to be able to see the availability of a space online. This is a really great way to get a sense of what’s popular when. If you have over a year to plan your event, take a look at the dates around the time you’re thinking about this year. Is it already booked? While previous years aren’t a guarantee of a space’s future availability, you can get an idea of how many openings there are in a given time frame. Chances are, if you ask the venue, they’re going to recommend that you book early. This is good advice. Venue rental isn’t like concert tickets, where the price goes down when there aren’t a lot of bookings. As soon as you know your plan, book that space.
Another important thing to consider is your budget. This should help you narrow down the right summer event space, or at least rule out some spots that you just can’t afford. An event can become quite expensive, given the rising costs of supplies like food and decor. Therefore, ensuring you’re not spending a huge chunk of your funds on the venue is key. Look for ways to save on rentals. While not every space will offer incentives for booking early, it’s possible that some will. Ask questions and start your search with ample time to navigate the sometimes tricky landscape of booking venues.
What is a good size for an event space? It’s important to know how many people you expect to have at your event and any of the ways you may use the space. For example, standing room and seated space are two very different things. While you can fit quite a few people into a small event space if they’re standing, you quickly lose a lot of room to tables and chairs if you need a lot of seating. Get the square footage of the spaces, and use online resources to calculate the necessary space for your guest list. Always overestimate how much room you’ll need, as this makes things go smoother when the time comes. Intimate gatherings are nice, but there is such a thing as too close for comfort.
Party on the Roof Deck
Center 615 has three different venue spaces for our clients and non-members to rent, but today we’re showing off our summer highlight: the Outdoor Roof Deck. With 1,400 square feet of open space overlooking downtown, this airy event area is perfect for small gatherings, yoga classes, or even wedding receptions. The Roof Deck has hosted a variety of gatherings, and we always hear the same thing: what a space! The standing room capacity of our space is 125, while seated is 75. It’s our smallest venue, but it can be combined with our Main Street Gallery for a larger footprint and a guarantee that you’re safe from the elements if Nashville decides to pour down rain on your day. You can book the two spaces together or reserve the Main Street Gallery as a contingency for bad weather. The Roof Deck is a unique venue that’ll work within most budgets and give your gathering a unique vibe. For just $250 per hour, it’s a great, cost-friendly party and event spot for rent in Nashville. Likewise, you can rent the Main Street Gallery for that same rate, which means you can more than double your party’s capacity and gain indoor space for a combined cost of just $500 per hour.
At Center 615, we’re all about amenities, so we provide our guests with a stable internet connection, as well as free parking, access to the prep area, restrooms, a shade umbrella, and other patio furniture on the Roof Deck. The Main Street Gallery boasts even more amenities for your gathering, including a massive 100-inch projector, a PA system with a microphone, 11 tables and chairs for up to 75 people, and an on-site manager to cater to any special event needs you may have. There are a few more costs that you’ll need to consider when renting from any venue, and that includes Center 615. We require a $250 security deposit and a $150 cleaning fee for both of our spaces, which help ensure a fair transaction for us and you.
